ScreenToGif — Screen Recording

Nicke Manarin

ScreenToGif is a free, open-source Windows tool that records a selected screen area, a webcam feed or a sketchboard, then lets you edit the recording and save it as a GIF, APNG, video, PSD or PNG image. Its wiki describes it as a quick and small screen recorder and suggests more advanced software for recordings longer than a few minutes. It needs Windows 10 or 11 and the .NET 9 Desktop Runtime or newer.
