What should you compare?

Search for the five to ten icons you need within one set and check that stroke width, corner radius and filled or outline style match. If the icons are for an interface, download the SVG and check that it stays sharp when you change its color and size.

The license is the main decision: read the license page to see whether the free download allows commercial use, whether attribution is required and whether use as part of a logo or trademark is restricted. Do not add icons to your product without a clearly stated license; confirm on the official pricing page what a paid plan changes.

Should I download SVG or PNG? SVG stays sharp at any size, can be recolored in code and is usually a small file, which suits websites and app interfaces. PNG has a fixed resolution and works for presentations or documents that need no editing.

How do I give attribution for free icons? Licenses that require attribution usually ask you to show the author, the source and the license name somewhere visible; the exact form is written in the license text. On sites that sell plans to remove attribution, check that condition before you buy.
