What should you compare?

Design a small flow of two or three screens: create a component, try auto layout, link the screens and open the prototype on a phone. Try commenting in the same file with a teammate and reading sizes and color codes in the developer view.

Confirm on the official pricing page whether the free plan limits files, pages, editors or version history. Do not assume you can export files to another tool or an open format, work offline or self-host until a source shows it.

What is the difference between a wireframe, a mockup and a prototype? A wireframe is a plain sketch of the layout, a mockup shows the finished look with colors and images, and a prototype is a model you can click through between screens. Starting with wireframes makes early changes cheaper.

Does a design tool generate code automatically? Some tools show sizes, colors and CSS values or produce code snippets, but that output is often not production-ready app code. Decide with your developer how the code will be used.
