Build a Website Without Code: tools and apps

Tools for building and publishing a website, landing page or portfolio with drag-and-drop or templates, without writing code. First decide what the site needs to do: a one-page promo, a blog, a multilingual business site or online sales each need different features and plans.

Good to know: Free-use terms vary by tool and plan. When a card lists no tool-specific limit, check quotas, watermarks and export terms on the official page.

What should you compare?

Build a two- or three-page test site from a template: try the mobile view, menu, forms and SEO settings such as page title, description and sharing image. Open the published test page on a phone and measure it with a speed test tool.

Confirm on the official pricing page which plan includes connecting your own domain, ad-free publishing, form submission limits, multilingual pages and e-commerce. Do not assume you can export the site or its content until a source shows it; with some tools, leaving the platform means rebuilding the site.

Will a site built with a no-code tool show up in search engines? It can, but that depends on the pages’ content, titles, links and technical settings rather than on the tool. Check whether it offers page title, description, redirect and sitemap settings; no tool can guarantee rankings.

Is hosting paid separately? Most no-code tools include hosting in the plan; the domain is usually bought separately or bundled for the first year. Check the pricing page for differences between yearly and monthly prices, renewal prices and per-site fees.

Notes that apply to several tools

  1. Check each tool’s plan separately; one feature’s allowance does not cover another.
  2. Check the official page for current quotas and output conditions.
